INSTALLATION NOTES FOR EuroLights™ RealHID(tm) Systems
Please read all instructions below before starting install.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS WILL VOID WARRANTY! Part 1- Get familiar with your RealHID kit : NOTE: Do NOT turn the system on until you reach "YOU
MAY NOW SWITCH ON" step below. You will notice upon opening your package that you have (2)
complete RealHID systems. Each consisting of ArcXenon(tm) bulb,
ballast, & starter. PLEASE ASSEMBLE THE KITS AS SHOWN IN THE
DIAGRAM at the BOTTOM of th The only item in each system that needs to be connected to your vehicle are two loose male connectors located near the ArcXenon bulbs. These two male connectors are the only thing you will need to install/plug-in to your car. Part 2- Remove Your Current Bulbs : Determine which bulbs are the ones you will be converting. Unplug them- (The connectors that you are now unplugging are the plugs that you will soon be plugging the two loose male connectors mentioned in part 1 into. But first...) Remove the standard bulbs from your vehicle and install the ArcXenon bulbs into the headlights (installation is the reverse of removal). Now, once you have secured the bulbs. You may plug in the two loose male connectors as described earlier in part 2. Be sure to connect the red wire to positive and the black wire to negative. If you have a tester you can determine this OR once you plug in the system, if it does not work simply reverse the connectors. Finally, secure your ballasts & starters so they do not move around in the engine bay. You may use the double sided tape or mounting brackets (provided), some customers prefer to use tie-wraps. Part 3- Locate Your Headlight Fuses : Your headlight fuses should be well labled in your vehicles main fuse panel (L HDLT = Left headlight, R HDLT= Right Headlight etc..) Take a look at these fuses. Notice where they are located & what amperage they are. Normally they are 10A which is generally sufficient for RealHID install. In some cases you will need to raise this to 15A or 20A by inserting a higher value fuse.... <<Turn on your motor. >> At this time "YOU MAY NOW SWITCH ON" the system. If the system comes on give it at least a minute to power up. You are now DONE. If it does not power up TURN EVERYTHING OFF and reverse the two loose male connectors. If it works now, you are DONE. If not...TURN EVERYTHING OFF , check the headlight fuses to see if they are burned out. If so increase fuse value by 5A up to 20A max.
